Tradelink, a member of PAA Digital Trade Alliance, attended the 71st PAA Steering Committee and Working Group Meetings hosted by Shanghai E&P International, Inc. in Shanghai from May 19th to 20th, 2025.
With the aim of promoting and providing secure, trusted, reliable and value-adding IT infrastructure and facilities to enhance seamless trade globally, PAA members engaged in collaborative discussions, sharing valuable insights on cross-border trade facilitation, including the application of AI in digital trade to enable seamless, secure, and efficient cross-border transactions.
In conjunction with the PAA meetings, Tradelink's Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer, Andrew Cheng, was invited as a guest speaker at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) event coordinated by PAA and APMEN Operational Center, themed "The 2025 Public-Private Dialogue on Advancing Trade Facilitation & Supply Chain Connectivity through E-port". In his presentation, Andrew highlighted Hong Kong's Electronic Transaction Ordinance as a pivotal example of how regions can leverage digital identity, legally binding digital signatures & AI technologies to foster secure and efficient cross-border trade.
