As the Hong Kong Government continues to champion the city's unique position as a "Super-Connector" between the Mainland and the world, Tradelink is proud to be at the forefront of this endeavour. On 11-12 September, we participated in the Belt and Road Summit 2024 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to showcase our innovative business e-solutions and connect with business leaders from the Belt and Road region and around the world.
The Belt and Road Summit is an annual flagship event co-hosted by the Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council. With "Building a Connected, Innovative and Green Belt and Road" as this year's theme, the event gathered esteemed guests of government officials and business leaders to share insights on multilateral cooperation for an interconnected world and opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative ("BRI").
Our Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Cheng, was invited to speak at the Summit's Open Forum session, presenting the topic "Supporting Hong Kong as a Super-Connector for the Green Belt and Road - Leveraging Legal Framework and Technology for Global Connectivity". Andrew introduced how our next-generation digital identity and signature solutions can facilitate global business activities and connections for both individuals and corporations and help accelerate green development and economic growth in the region under the BRI. Additionally, Andrew announced Tradelink's new strategic partnership with Docusign, the world's leading service provider of Intelligent Agreement Management, with the aim of facilitating cross-boundary digital signing in the BRI and beyond.
At our booth, by hosting an interactive deepfake detection game and conducting live demonstrations on digital certificate applications, we highlighted the facial recognition capability and usability of our digital identity and signature solutions. Additionally, we introduced how our trade documentation service facilitates borderless and paperless document exchange across the supply chain. Beyond booth engagement, we actively participated in the deal-making sessions and engaged in insightful exchanges with potential business partners.
Through our participation in the Belt and Road Summit 2024, Tradelink reaffirms its commitment to enhancing Hong Kong's role as a "Super-Connector" in the BRI and global business landscape. We are delighted to connect with business professionals around the globe and look forward to new business opportunities and collaborations.
