Digi-Sign Certification Services Limited is a Certification Authority recognized by the GCIO under a voluntary scheme established by the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, Chapter 553 of the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. As a Recognized Certification Authority Digi-Sign meets the various standards, including those for trustworthiness, promulgated by Government.
 
  The following certificates issued by Digi-Sign are recognized by the GCIO under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553).
 
 

  • ID-Cert Root CA Certificate;

  • ID-Cert Signing CA Certificate;

  • Personal ID-Cert Class 1, for individuals to use as digital signatures;

    •

  • Organizational ID-Cert Class 2, for organizations to use as digital signatures;

    •

  • Encipherment ID-Cert Class 3, for individuals and organizations to use as encryption of electronic messages;

  • Organizational ID-Cert Class 5, for organizations to use as digital signatures.
